The regular standard design stretcher bars are our main current product and are made of first quality precision-cut kiln dried fir wood. They have a uniform beaded edge for forming a perfect painting support. The notched edges fit all brands that conform to the standard dimensions of 1-5/8 inch wide and 3/4 inch deep. We recommend use of our Standard design stretcher bars cross braces for stretcher strips over 30", to maintain frame strength. The cross braces are sold only with stretcher strip orders. If you make an order andneed braces,please let us know the overall frame size, and we will suggest specifications for braces.

Note: Prices listed in US Dollars. For Stretcher bars orders the minimum order is $1000. For bars over 30", standard and professional cross braces are recommended for greater strength and stability. The cross braces price are the same as the size of the stretcher bar to which each brace corresponds. We can also custom build the bars to fit metric measurements or unique sizes.
